England v India, Carlton Mid Tri-Series, Brisbane  Date – 20-jan-2015

England registered their 9 wicket win against India. Steven Finn took a career best 5 for 33 and  along with James Anderson (4 for 18) knocked India over for 153 in 39.3 Overs. From there, given India suspect the result  was almost a foregone conclusion  after impressing performance in bowling department  and with an unbeaten 131-run stand for the second wicket between Ian Bell (88*) and James Taylor (56*), England bounce back from  defeat to AUS on Friday to pocket five points .

After winning  toss MS Dhoni elected to bat first on tricky track.  After early lost of  Shikhar Dhawan.  Ajinkya Rahane and Ambati Rayudu put 56 for the second wicket and then Stuart Binny and MS Dhoni added 70 for the sixth to try and revive a flagging innings, but a crippling spell from Finn, who broke both Partnership to restrict India to winning total. It is not a first time when India batsman struggled in overseas condition  they are repeating same mistake again and  again .

Today’s batting  performance of India create a question about preparation of India for upcoming great event ICC Cricket orld cup 2015 which is starting from next month .
