By default, apps for your Android phone are stored on the device. You can move downloaded apps to your phone’s storage card to free up space. The app is not modified when it is moved to the card and functions in the same manner. You can move the apps back and forth between the phone and storage card as often as needed.
Press “Home” on your Android mobile phone to view the home screen.
Tap “Menu,” and then tap “Settings.” Tap “Applications,” and then tap “Manage Applications.”

Tap the “All” tab to view all of the applications installed on your Android phone.
Tap the app you want to move to your phone’s SD card.
Tap “Move to SD Card” and wait for the app to transfer to the card. When the process is complete, the option to “Move to Phone” replaces the SD card option.
Repeat for each app that you want on your SD card. Press “Home” to exit to the home screen.
