Say hello to the world’s first dual screen smartphone – the YotaPhone. The YotaPhone features a main screen in the front and an always-on display at the back.YotaPhone was inarguably one of the quirkiest smartphones released last year, with not one, but two displays. This curious marriage of LCD and E Ink was certainly a manufacturing achievement.
Display is now a 5-inch, 1080p AMOLED affair (442 ppi), and my, is it gorgeous. The screens on the YotaPhone 2 are both pretty excellent. The new 5-inch display has excellent pixel density, and the AMOLED’s show great blacks and excellent colors. It’s a little finicky when it comes to auto-brightness and ambient light detection.
PROCESSOR & OPERATING SYSTEM
The Yotaphone 2 rocks up running Android 4.4.3 KitKat. That’s not quite the latest version of KitKat (which is 4.4.4), but that’s already been replaced by Android 5.0 Lollipop. It comes with a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor & 2GB ram.
CAMERA & STORAGE & BATTERY
Yota has managed to fit in an 8Mp camera with an LED flash. On the front is a 2Mp front,Performance seemed very good.It has a memory of 32GB which cannot be expanded,The YotaPhone 2 is fuelled by a 2,500mAh Li-ion battery.
If you are ready to pay a large sum for something extremely unique and intriguing, the YotaPhone 2 is the right choice. It is definitely an engineering marvel thanks largely to its dual screens which can be used for different purposes.
