In photos: The hottest cars of Auto Expo 2016

It is not everyday that you see an Italian exotic belting down your neighbourhood main road. You might see one parked at that one upscale market in your city, but in real life, that is about it. But then, every two years, a show comes to town where for a handful of rupees (or if you know the right people, for free) you get to see the best of automotive technology the world has to offer.

Yes, I am talking about the ongoing Auto Expo 2016. New cars were launched, concepts were showcased and some well known brands from around the world were on display. At some places, you could even sit on the driver’s seat and let your imagination go. Here is a look at some of the hottest cars of this year’s Auto Expo:auto expo

Maruti Suzuki kicked off the Auto Expo with the launch of the Vitara Brezza

The Camaro SS in its yellow avatar is better known to us as Bumblebee from the Transformers movies.

Mercedes-Benz also showcased the G 500 4×4. Standing tall at 2.25 m, it is a machine of generous proportions (to say the least)

the mercedes-Benz G 500 4×4 is powered by a 4-litre, V8 biturbo that produces 416PS of power and 610Nm of torque.

Nissan unveiled the 2016 GT-R and yes, it will be available in India from September.
