A.B. de Villiers– The super talented and hard hitter of cricket ball can make a huge impact at WC 2015. He is currently superb form and top of the table in ICC’s batsmen rankings for ODIs, and if he manages to maintain his good form, then the Proteas may be able to cross the final hurdle this time to end their World Cup jinx
H.M. Amla– Amla is classical batsman his ICC’s ranking is 2. He is the fastest man to reach 2000, 3000, 4000 and 5000 runs in ODIs and he also became the quickest to reach 18 ODI centuries during his unbeaten 153-run knock in second ODI against the West Indies. Amla provides stability to South Africa’s batting order and he, along with De Villiers, will be the key to where the Proteas end up final.
Virat Kohli– Kohli is the backbone of Indian batting his aggressive style of batting with measured risks makes him a dangerous batsman. Kohli is currently No. 3 in ICC’s ODI rankings for batsmen and his success will be pivotal to India’s title defence.
Kumar Sangakkara– He is the most experienced batsman in Sri Lankan site for WC 2015. In the second Test against New Zealand, Sangakkara became the fastest to get to 12000 runs, and he also scored his 11th double ton, just one behind Don Bradman. He would be playing his last World Cup and a lot would be expected from him considering his good form. He is at no 4 in ICC ODI ranking.
