5 Widely Bought ‘Health Foods’ That Are Not At All Healthy And Are Making You Fat

This post has been seen 139 times.

The ‘fat loss product’ market is huge. The funniest thing is that every year, this industry does billions of dollars of business selling nothing but absolute crap. Fat free this, sugar free that and what not. Breakfast cereal, fat free butter and other such things, how did these even get labelled as ‘health food’ in the first place. It’s all a nexus run by the manufacturers and research labs. These products prove rather ‘more fattneing’ than slimming. Here are 5 such products.

1) Breakfast Cereal

Breakfast cereal is one such eatable that has been branded ‘healthy’ for the longest period of time while the truth is that, it absolutely isn’t. Manufacturers are making a fortune exploiting the desperation of fat people trying to lose weight by selling them this load of crap. Simply put- cereals are just man boobs and jelly belly in a bag. Loaded with processed carbohydrates, tons of artificial sugar and preservatives, these are only making fat people fatter. Sugar is a MAJOR constituent in cereals like organic cane syrup, cane crystals, evaporated cane juice, fruit juice concentrates, honey, African whoopie tree extract, unicorn tears and what not all.  A nutrition label no-vice on an average dunks down thousands of calories from sugar alone eating bowls of cereal as meal replacement. Repeat after me- NO breakfast cereal will make you lose fat. Another few selling tricks are- low fat, high protein and ‘made-with’ this or that, well, all of it is bullshit!

2) Digestive Biscuits

The inception of these stupid digestive biscuits is pretty recent. More or less, because fat people started talking about the importance of fiber while eating pizza, and manufacturers got an opportunity to make millions. Well, while manufacturers did make millions, obese people are still obese and still face problems while shitting, despite of downing an entire pack of stupid digestive biscuits. So, what you get in digestive biscuits per 100 grams is no more than 1-2 gram of fiber, over 20 grams of processed carbohydrates and well over 5 grams of sugar. And please, it won’t help you lose weight or better your constipation either. So stop right there!

3) Supposedly ‘Organic’ Products

First, rich fat people thought that high fat eatables are making them fat. Then, they started thinking about pesticides on their high-as-fuck carbohydrate diets. Hence, a market was created. Now every eatable has an organic doppelganger. Just put the same damn thing in a different packet and label it as ‘organic’ and there comes a rich fat dude unwilling to exercise and feels proud picking it up. If you buy organic products citing pesticide usage as a reason, you are just poorly educated about Indian pesticide regulation. Pesticides used in organic food are no less than real pesticides. They’re supposed to be different but end up being the same thing.

4) Detox Juices

I have written and spoken time and again about the extreme idiocy of detox juices. Again, these are brought to you by the same people who want to lose weight but refuse to eat right and workout. Anyway, they are still fat. So, firstly, there’s no food that detoxifies your system.  Your kidneys and liver deal with toxins in your body, not a stupid fancy juice you bought. Secondly, they are now adding artificial sweeteners to it, because ‘I want to drop 20 kgs ya but sugar is life ya’ kind of people are asking for it.

5) Almost Every ‘Low Fat’ Eatable

Alright, fat has been demonized since the 50s because of this very hand-picked and baseless study by Ansel Keys. Now almost 80 years later, it’s still embedded in people’s brain as Satan. Manufacturers make anything as ‘low-fat’ and obese people start queuing up. Anything low fat is predominantly loaded with carbohydrates and sugars. That what’s making you fat. What you need to understand here is that fat has negligible response to insulin spikes when compared to sugar and carbohydrates. The more you eat, the more unnecessary insulin spikes you will get and glycogen will get stored as fat.
