Renault India has manufactured some stunning vehicles in the country’s market till now, right from hatchbacks to sports utility vehicles. Another latest addition to its portfolio is named Lodgy, which is a striking multi purpose vehicle that comes in a few variants. This Renault Lodgy 110PS RxZ 8 Seater trim is offered with a 1.5-litre diesel power plant that displaces 1461cc. It has the ability to generate power of 108.4bhp in combination with torque output of 245Nm. This mill is also paired with a six speed manual transmission gear box, which helps in easier gear shifting. It is equipped with a proficient suspension system that keeps it stable and makes the drive as smooth as possible. The company has loaded it with many security aspects like auto door locks, rear defogger, door ajar warning lamp, central door locking and many other such aspects, which enhances the level of protection. This MPV comes with several interesting exterior aspects that makes it look quite stylish. In the front, it has a chrome treated radiator grille and a large windscreen, while on the sides, it features a modish set of alloy wheels. Coming to its rear end, the expressive boot lid has a chrome strip embossed on it, while the bumper is fitted with a pair of reflectors. On the other hand, its interiors too are designed in an elegant way with a dual tone color scheme. It has comfy seats that are covered with a combination of fabric and leather upholstery. Other aspects like the driver seat armrest, front and rear power windows, cruise control function as well as power sockets further provide a high level of comfort to its occupants. This vehicle faces competition from Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Innova as well as Honda Mobilio in this segment. The firm offers it with a standard warranty of two years or 50,000 Kilometers, whichever comes first and this period can be further extended at an additional cost.

Exteriors: 

Its engineers have done a splendid job in designing this MPV, which includes many notable features and looks quite impressive. To begin with its front fascia, it has a wide windscreen that is equipped with a couple of wipers. The bonnet is quite sleek and stylish, while the large headlight cluster is integrated with high intensity headlamps and turn indicators. The main attraction in its frontage is the bold radiator grille that is polished with chrome. Then, the body colored bumper is fitted with a wide air intake section that cools the engine in no time. It is further surrounded by a pair of round shaped fog lamps that completes its front profile. On the sides, the door handles and outside rear view mirrors looks are painted in body color, while it also features side molding as well as B and C pillars. Meanwhile, the wheel arches are fitted with a set of 15 inch alloy wheels that are covered with tubeless tyres. Its rear end too looks attractive with an expressive boot lid that has a chrome strip and a windshield that includes a defogger. Other aspects like the luminous tail light cluster, bumper and a high mount stop lamp gives it a complete look.

Interiors: 

This MPV is blessed with a roomy cabin that is decorated with Gris Fume and Beige color scheme. It is incorporated with well cushioned seats, which offer good support and comfort as well. The second row seat has 60:40 split folding function, while the third row seat is also foldable and removable as well. There are 12V power sockets available using which, mobile phones and electronic gadgets can be charged. On the other hand, the cockpit looks very appealing with a smooth dashboard that comes fitted with some equipments. It includes a steering wheel that is wrapped with leather and the instrument cluster gives out different notifications. Besides these, a glove box compartment, piano black finished central fascia, assist grips and inside rear view mirror are the other features available present in the cabin.
