Vitamin D deficiencies are a very common thing nowadays and are linked to many common diseases. Maybe you lack what you need of the vitamin D if you suffer from one of these diseases.

1. Asthma

Vitamin D has recently been found to help curb the inflammation that restricts the airways of a person with asthma during a flare up. It has been proven to help reduce the severity of asthma symptoms in children.

2. Influenza

Vitamin D has been known to help boost the immune system. Meaning someone with a deficiency of vitamin D will be more susceptible to influenza.

3. Glucose Intolerance

Trying to keep your vitamin D levels high may be a good way to treat IBD.

6. Type 2 diabetes

Keeping high vitamin D levels through sunlight exposure can actually help reduce the risk of developing type-2 diabetes Therefore keeping Vitamin D levels up is a must.

7. Rheumatoid Arthritis

In recent studies it has been found that people with rheumatoid arthritis spend less time in the sun and In most cases of rheumatoid arthritis, it is found that the person has lower levels of vitamin D. Vitamin D deficiency has been linked with joint pain for many years. Spending more time in the sun will help take in vitamin D greatly.

8. Cancer

No matter what type of cancer it is, studies show that it has been more prominent in people who simply do not take in enough vitamin D. The higher level of vitamin D you have the less likely you are to develop any form of cancer.

9. Cavities

Poor dental health has been linked to lack of vitamin D. The more vitamin D you take in will reduce the risk of possible cavities.
