Remember what pop-sensation Miley Cyrus said, “…the minute I stop making mistakes is the minute I stop learning…” We all make mistakes, don’t we? We are constantly told NOT to repeat them. But we are going to tell you why making mistakes is not that bad after all!
So let’s raise a toast to these 7 mistakes that we think are not mistakes at all.
1.) Have a HANGOVER.
Get Your ‘Chaar Bottle Vodka’ Out Right Now! You need to get crazy drunk once in your life to the point of a blackout! The hangover will be torturous, don’t worry, you’ll get well soon.
2.) Getting caught after a late night party.
Do this only with the people you trust blindly! Sneak out for a party and get caught. Mom and dad asleep? Now get, set and run! Yes, this might land you into a lot of trouble; but it makes for a great story!
3.) TV series addiction.
Be it F.R.I.E.N.D.S. or The Game Of Thrones, Quantico or Suites… Dive into it like the characters are your family; Cry when they cry, laugh when they laugh and suffer the emptiness inside when the show ends!
4.) Literally, just WALK IN for an interview. We repeat- literally.
Go for an interview completely unprepared! This does not guarantee a job but what you take back from this failure will help you ace the most important interview next time.
5.) Spend your entire salary in a day.
This is a sweet mistake and we will easily manage to do this. Indulge and splurge to heart’s content. Your credit card statement might come as a shocker, but you’ll end up living like Paris Hilton for a day! Live life king size.
6.) Try the trending hairdo.
Hairdo gone wrong? So, your favourite celebrity is sporting the funkiest, craziest and WEIRDEST hairstyle on the magazine cover? Feel inspired and go for it! Disclaimer: It does not always turn out to be as cool as it looks.
7.) Eat by the roadside stalls during the monsoon.
This is the one mistake we die to make! Vada pav, kanda bhajji, garam kanda poha, cutting chai, bhutta & what not. Let people talk about the dirty water in pani puri & germ clanned vada pav, try it once for sure.
Life is all about learning from our own mistakes.
Who says repeat the mistakes? New mistakes are a part of learning process and they are obviously welcome.
