Time is something that we always have when we don’t need it and something that we don’t when we desperately need it. You are always running faster than the ticking clock so that you can leave it behind but somehow it always manages to catch up.
If you are a person who needs time to do things even after you have plenty of it on your hand then, here are 7 ironically true but funny things that you’ve been through.
1.) Finishing projects is just not your cup of tea.
You really know you are screwed when you know projects deadlines are on your head and you don’t know where to start because you have so much work pending already.
2.) You and the clock have “Chattis Ka Aankda” with each other!
Obviously you haven’t had the “time” to make clocks and watches your best friend. *pun intended* You freak out the moment you see the clock because it’s ticking faster than you anticipated.
3.) Having said that, you truly believe that clocks need to have numbers beyond 12, to give you that extra time!
For others, 24 hours in a day are enough but for you it’s not. You always have something or the other on your mind that needs to be finished but you are always seen running out of time, your worst enemy.
4.) Sometimes, the fear of running out of time makes you forget about what you were actually going to do.
You hear people all the time saying that they will love to go back to school, to start a new career, to go to the gym, to start meditating, etc., but they can’t because you see they don’t have enough time.
5.) You are always in a hurry to reach a place but somehow you’re still late.
The faster you think about doing a task, the slower it seems to go. It has happened to during examinations too; you plan to write your paper faster, only to realize that you are yet lagging behind.
6.) When you are unable to complete a task in the estimated time, you go like, “Why does it have to happen to me only?”
7.) You’ve always promised yourself that you’ll manage your time better next time, but you know how much you abide by that.
“I am going to take up time management classes”, “I really need to manage time properly next time” are some things you tell yourself but well, when it comes to putting your words into action, it’s difficult.
