Times have changed, and 4-inch displays are now on the specs lists of budget handsets, not flagship smartphones. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are Apple’s reaction to this new age. The iPhone 6 boasts a 4.7-inch screen, which already seems a rather pedestrian size, especially next to the giant 5.5-inch display on the iPhone 6 Plus, but it’s the compromise that most people seem to want, and it’s nice that Apple has finally listened to the masses.
looking at the specs alone there doesn’t seem to be a huge boost in performance. The A8 packs a dual-core processor running at 1.4GHz, which is only slightly up when compared to the 1.3GHz A7.
The processor is obviously uprated, the camera quicker and more capable than ever before, and the battery has been enlarged significantly to quell the disquiet at the power use of previous models.
The 8MP iSight camera comes with a dual LED flash and improved optics for better low-light photography and action photography. Also, you can now capture photos and videos simultaneously. Note that with iOS 8, you can integrate additional photo-editing apps to the default Photos app.
There iPhone 6 packs a 1,810mAh battery, which may seem paltry compared with other phones in its league. However, its battery life is above average, if not the best in its class.
In our tests, the iPhone 6 managed 14 hours of calls on the 3G network with the auto-brightness set on and location access switched off. When left on standby, it managed nearly six days without charging with mobile data and location access switched on.
The best price for Apple iPhone 6 16Gb is 53500 on 8th December.
